Alt-J – In Cold Blood (Twin Shadow Remix) (feat. Pusha T)

Pusha T has linked up with Alt-J for a new remix of their single “In Cold Blood.” The track sees Pusha spitting an opening verse, with Twin Shadow handling the new production. “It’s hot at night in the summertime, the summer’s mine, that’s underlined,” Pusha raps on the record. “King Push, kingpin puttin’ none over mine.” The original track appeared on the UK band’s Relaxer album last year. Curren$y & Harry Fraud – Deadstock

Are you ready for more Curren$y music this week? After going on a tear with releases the past few days, he links back up with Harry Fraud on “Deadstock,” a track that could have not made the cut on past projects the two worked together. Over the course of the past week, we’ve gotten enough material to cook up a nice little project from Spitta, so it’ll be interesting to see how much more he’d put out for fans.

Jay Rock Talks TDE Unity, Life-Changing Accident on Breakfast Club

Jay Rock stopped by The Breakfast Club this week following the release of his Redemption . Rock explained that he’s never felt bitter about others’ success in TDE because they’re his brothers and came up together. “If I feel like I’ve made it, they all made it. If I feel like they’ve made it, I feel like I’ve made it,” he said. “So it’s never no bitter or no feeling no type of way. Don’t feel sorry for me ’cause Rock a soldier. I come from the projects. I done been through it all so that ain’t nothing.” Rock went in depth about the serious motorcycle accident that changed his life in 2016. “I was just thinking about a lot of stuff like, ‘damn, I could have really died.'” He continued, “It encouraged me to go extra hard. I always had the drive but it put my driving mode in a whole another gear.” He also talks about the meaning being Redemption , working with J. Cole, the rumor about JAY-Z being on the album and much more.
