Q-Tip Says New Album ‘The Last Zulu’ Is Coming Soon

Q-Tip‘s long-awaited album The Last Zulu was announced so long ago that we were wondering if it was even coming out at all. Now, he’s confirmed that the album is on the way, and has the same title.

“The last Zulu aka the riot diary #ComingSoon,” he tweeted over the weekend. Q-Tip may have released We Got It from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service with A Tribe Called Quest in 2016, but this will be his first solo album since 2009’s Kamaal/The Abstract.
