Directed by Spencer Hord, the visual finds Wiz surrounded by some of his favorite things: weed, women, alcohol and cars. “Let’s start from the beginning,” Wiz raps. “With a young nigga from the ‘Burgh, smokin’ weed, gettin’ money, fuck what you heard.”  Problem  continues the energy, and adding a little West Coast flavor to a track that nods to Snoop Dogg’s classic “Gin and Juice.”

JAY-Z  has written an op-ed for the The Philadelphia Inquirer, after Philly mayor Jim Kenney stopped Made in America from taking place on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in 2019. “We are disappointed that the mayor of the city of Philadelphia would evict us from the heart of the city, through a media outlet, without a sit-down meeting, notice, dialogue, or proper communication,” JAY said. “It signifies zero appreciation for what Made In America has built alongside the phenomenal citizens of this city. In fact, this administration immediately greeted us with a legal letter trying to stop the 2018 event.”

Atlanta singer   Berhana   is sharing a video for his new single “Wildin’.” The video sees him dripping in jewellery, driving a Lambo and surrounded by dollars bills, but the message is that all of that doesn’t really mean anything. Berhana is numb to it, ends up getting robbed and shaves his head at the end. “I was reading an old proverb that says, ‘An excess of courtesy is actually discourtesy,'”  Berhana told NPR . “That kind of hit home for me in the video. Just because you’re getting all of these things at once, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good for you. It doesn’t mean that that’s what you should be doing.”

Last year, HBO confirmed that  Game of Thrones  would be getting multiple spin-off series. With the main entry of the franchise ending, new details emerge about the upcoming prequel. According to The Belfast Telegraph, HBO is planning to begin filming for the first spin-off in October. Staff at the Paint Hall studios in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter were told that the prequel was their next major project. In past years, Paint Hall served as the main studio for the franchise, which shouldn’t come as a shock to die hard viewers. With Kingsman writer Jane Goldman and George R.R. Martin helming the script, it’s being rumored that the show will be titled The Long Night. As far as the show’s premise, it’ll take place thousands of years before events for  Game of Thrones , during the  Age of Heroes . It’ll also give a complete breakdown of the Stark family and the origins of the  White Walkers . Look for first photos to emerge before the end of the year.

Former Elton John and Guns N’ Roses manager,  Merck Mercuriadis , has made his next major move in music. The founder of Hipgnosis Songs Fund Limited, took over the London Stock Exchange a few days ago and celebrated his company buying up 75 percent of  The-Dream’s  music catalog. The legendary musician got $23 million for the stake in 302 songs – including the likes of Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Justin Bieber’s “Baby,” Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body,” and his own releases. Following the Chicago Bulls using most of last year to build a new identity, the team struck gold this weekend – officially inking Jabari Parker to a two-year deal. The  contract is reportedly worth $40 million, with a team option in place if he gets injured again next season . The versatile forward now joins the starting roster, as the Bulls are now looking to build for the immediate future. Last season, the team was plagued by injuries, with Zach LaVine missing most of the year to rehab his torn ACL after knee surgery. In that span, the team used time to  help adjust international draft lottery pick Lauri Markkanen to the pace of the NBA  – which was a success. Tinashe may have released her long-awaited Joyride album in April, but she isn’t slowing down with even more music. This week, the singer is back with her new single called “Like I Used To.” Produced by Smash David and Hitmaka, the new track finds Tinashe singing about not being able to trust (and make love) to someone the same way anymore. “I gave up all my love but you abused it,” she sings. “Now you’re just something I checked off my to-do list.”

About a week ago,  Young M.A  followed up her hard “ Praktice ” single with another new track titled “ Petty Wap .” If you were on the fence about the record, the accompanying visual should make you like it more, considering the content found on there. M.A is with her Red Lyfe crew at a 4th of July pool party, where the shortys present are not shy to twerk for the cameras. It’s not quite “Tip Drill” status, but we enjoyed the scenery.

Although Curren$y is not shy about working with big producer for entire projects, he always shows love to up and comers as well. With chill production from Drupey Beats which fits the mood perfect, Spitta shares “A Sign of Things to Come” for Jet Life fans. Taylor Bennett  is back with the release of his new EP titled  Be Yourself . For it, the Chicago rapper puts together six feel-good tracks with guest features from Young Thug, Bianca Shaw, Supa Bwe and Zxxk. “I wanted to bring a round-table discussion about the insecurities we have,” he recently told  TIME  about the project. “When I say be yourself, I don’t mean be gay, be bi, be lesbian, be queer, be any of that. Monday evening, the Brooklyn rapper shared a message to fans, when he’d be returning home to the states – teasing his next single. Well, following a long-plane ride home most of Tuesday night, Tekashi was greeted by NYPD at JFK Airport; just moments after returning home. According to the police report, 6ix9ine was arrested for an outstanding warrant for allegedly chocking a 16-year-old at The Galleria in Houston. The court documents revealed that Tekashi allegedly grabbed the teen by his neck and caused marks and pain in a brief altercation. Following his appearance in Brooklyn court yesterday, 69 was ordered extradited back to Houston Wednesday evening, where he’ll remain in custody until next week when he’ll be able to post bail.
