Todd McFarlane Planning Spawn & Venom Crossover Film

With DC Comics still struggling to properly implement crossover films into their current phase, Marvel and Image Comics are planning something big. Spawn creator, Todd McFarlane believes an official crossover film with Venom could happen. In a conversation with CBR, McFarlane said the idea would be possible if Sony Pictures distributes his upcoming unrated Spawn reboot.
While the project doesn’t even have a release date yet, Venom is part of Sony’s big fourth quarter release schedule; as they’ll be looking to dominate the box offices in a few months. Take a look at Todd’s comments below and let us know in the comments what you think of this possible crossover.
Here’s a big “What If.” What if Sony distributes Spawn? Then is it possible that in the future Sony could have a crossover with Venom and Spawn? It’s possible. So, I will be presenting that possibility to the Sony executives when we get ready. My conversation with them would be, why wouldn’t you? Here’s what I know. Let’s say Venom is huge — I hope it is — then no matter who distributes Spawn, the first thing you will see in every trailer will be, “From the co-creator of Venom.”
So, then my question to Sony is, why would you let one of your competitors use that line, given that it was your effort that made Venom work? Your money that made Venom work? Your marketing that made Venom work? I think it’s worth asking, then, what happens if they both work? And then what happens ten years down the line, when they want to do a Spawn/Venom crossover and they get the guy who helped create both those characters to direct it? Might be kind of cool.

‘NBA Live 19’ Introduces New Dribble Crossover Combos

With EA Sports successfully rolling out NBA Live 18, the west coast team is readying their next basketball simulation title. Last week, EA presented LIVE 19 to the public, which featured drastic graphical overhauls for in-game fluidity. Luckily, gameplay is also getting several tune-ups this year, including a new dribbling system for deadly crossover. Through compiled media footage below, the game introduces a variety of double crossover and between the leg crossovers. However, those moves will be limited to just players like Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, Jamal Crawford and maybe at times, Steph Curry for certain moves. Outside of those four, if you try with any other point-guard around the league, they’ll likely lose the rock and possibly even turn it over. Take a look at the clips below and let us know in the comments what you think.
